Securely connected: acting proactively in the age of digital vulnerability

he National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) has released a survey of security incidents in 2025, recording 77 occurrences up to April 1st. It is noteworthy that São Paulo (26 cases) and the Federal District (16 cases) lead the ranking, with approximately 71% of incidents occurring in the private sector, especially in industries and companies providing services.

The main breaches identified include credential theft, ransomware attacks and unauthorized access to systems, revealing the growing vulnerability of inadequate and insecure digital environments.

The obligation to report incidents, as stipulated by the General Data Protection Law (LGPD), reinforces the need to have a robust legal and technological apparatus to prevent and mitigate risks.

In the current scenario, adopting a proactive stance on cybersecurity is essential to safeguarding sensitive customer data, preserving the image and integrity of organizations and complying with legislation such as the LGPD. Adopting essential measures, always guided by compliance policies and best practices in digital governance.

These actions are fundamental to mitigating vulnerabilities, preventing digital attacks and strengthening customer confidence, demonstrating a solid commitment to information protection and legal compliance.
